Children's Sewing classes
For students ages 7+. Students do not need to own their own sewing machine, but if
they have one, they can bring it. Space is limited so $60 deposit is necessary to secure a
place. Submit registration form with deposit.
Session 1 - “Beginner/Intermediate Sewers”
Tuesdays 1/9, 16, 23, 30, 2/6, & 13 4:30-6:30 PM Cost $120.00
Your child will learn how to comfortably operate a sewing machine, while making several challenging and fun projects
that they can take home.
Prerequisite: No prior sewing experience is necessary.

Session 2 - “Intermediate Sewers”
Saturdays 1/13, 20, 27, 2/3, 10, & 17 10:00-12:00 PM Cost $120.00
Strengthen your understanding of sewing processes and refine your sewing skills as you sew projects that require
consistent sewing. Use your creativity and begin to understand how to use sewing to personalize your things.
Recommended ages 9+.
Prerequisite: At least one sewing session

White Sewing Center was established over 50 years ago at the Globe Store in Scranton, PA.
When the Globe Store closed their doors we rented space from Scranton Fabric Center.
Due to an increase of classes and sales, we acquired a larger store, on April 1, 2000 at our current location.
